STUD SERVICES
At BDA Equestrian we offer a variety of flexible services for the stallion, mare and youngstock owner. We have excellent facilities and an experienced team. Kyle is a qualified AI Technician, and works closely alongside our team vet Roger Lee from Tower Equine.
Facilities include a 5-horse under-cover horse-walker, ménage, lunge pen, stallion turn-out pens with fencing. Every horse is individual, and we tailor their routine accordingly. We offer competitive packages and visitors are always welcome.
STALLIONS
We offer the organisation of all stallion collection services, we work closely with Tower Equine for inseminations on or off-site, including shipping throughout the UK. Whatever your stallion's routine, we will keep it the same.
MARES & FOALS
We have a large foaling barn split into pens, all equipped with CCTV to enable us to monitor your mare closely and without intrusion 24 hours a day prior to foaling. We take mares on both short and long-term residential basis for artificial insemination, and foaling. All vet work, such as blood tests, scans etc are carried out our highly experienced vet team at Tower Equine. (Click images to enlarge..)
For mares using our own stallions we charge for stallion collections, if your mare is in full livery with us fresh semen is always available. We strive to follow the mares' normal routine be it stabled or living out. Mares and youngstock live out in small groups throughout the milder, warmer months and in winter housed in the barn. Youngsters are well cared for, vaccinated, trimmed and wormed regularly.
LIVERY SERVICES
Situated at Field Farm in the village of Billinghay just outside Sleaford in Lincolnshire BDA offers a variety of livery services tailored to individual requirements. A professional and friendly yard, with an experienced and knowledgeable team who are happy to cater for all types of horses from top competition horses to ponies.
BDA have a wealth of experience backing and producing horses, from long reining through to their first competition and beyond. We can take your horse for as little or as long as required, either to teach the very basics or through to competition level. With excellent facilities to assist in this process.
SALES LIVERY
BDA offers the service of taking in horses or ponies on livery to sell. This means that your horse or pony will be prepared in the best possible way for sale, whilst getting access to BDA's clients waiting to purchase suitable horses and ponies.
BDA only takes on safe and genuine horses to sell, on a full livery basis. Service includes all day to day duties such as mucking out, grooming and exercising alongside schooling, fittening and full sales preparation such as mane pulling and clipping.
HASSLE FREE SELLING
The experienced team at BDA will school your horse working on any necessary areas, hack out, jump (show-jump and cross-country). The only additional costs are shoeing and any veterinary bills, and 10% commission taken on sale. BDA will aim to sell your horse as quickly as possible, whilst ensuring he is matched with a suitable home and rider.
SOURCING SERVICE
BDA offers a horse finding service. If we don't have the right horse for your needs we are able to import excellent horses and ponies worldwide, at very reasonable prices from our trusted contacts.
